The desert at dusk can be a very beautiful, peaceful place. That is why I chose it as a backdrop for my latest piece. I combined elements of both street and dirt bikes to create a semi futuristic hybrid enduro racer, rocketing across a desolate desert plain.

I worked up this conceptual sketch of an old church for A Secret Beneath. Half of the structure has been claimed by fire, while the remaining half has been left behind to be reclaimed by the elements.

I dreamed up the idea for this Honda S2000 GT Race Car, while getting a tune up at my local Honda dealer. The image morphed from a simple sketch of a car in the show room, in to an 800 horsepower monster blasting down a strait away at Sears Point. It's always fun to dream.

This is one of my favorite paintings ever. I'm not sure why. Maybe because it's just one of those paintings you just sit down and do, because you love to paint. It wasn't intended for any job, and there was no pressure to get any of it right, it was just fun.

In spring 2006, I designed California Theatre Center's production of Pinocchio for director Will Huddleston. Will was great. I've worked with him before, and he has always given me a green light to explore and be creative.

This still shot is from California Theatre's 2006 production of Pinocchio. I was impressed with how well the actors interacted with the show props. They really used them to bring the story to life.

I designed and built this simple row boat for California Theatre Center's 2006 Production of Pinocchio. The image's on top of the props pictures are my original concept sketches.

This is the whale that swallows up Pinocchio and Gipetto in California Theatre Center's Pinocchio. It was equipped with handles on the back, so that two actors could hold it up and drop it in front of the unsuspecting victims. The cool thing about designing for kid's shows is that the audience usually has a great imagination, and they don't really question the fact that the killer fish (mammal) is only about 3 feet tall.
